HRIS Data Quality & Use of Information 

About: 

This short course aims to develop practical skills and competence in effectively managing the data quality and use of information with a basic practical guide on monitoring and evaluation.  

Learning Objectives 

  • Understand the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) 
  • Understand key legislation and policies 
  • Understand data quality  
  • Understand the classification and characteristics of indicators  
  • Understand common data quality problems and review data quality checks 
  • Understand the various formats for the effective presentation of information (charts, pivots, dashboards and maps) 
  • Understand correct interpretation of data as a tool in decision-making processes 
  • Understand Results-Based Management Plan 
  • Understand how to set realistic GTI’s for selected health priorities 
  • Understand a quarterly improvement and monitoring plan and demonstrate the ability to use such a plan for planning purposes
